I was trained in Nussloch, Germany for B03 Microtome Transfer Project and was later in charge of assembly production of RM2235 rotary microtome, two kinds of micrometer mechanisms and six kinds of accessories in Shanghai. My main job and performance are shown below:  Establishment for three production cells; line/material layout; selected and purchased tools and fixtures; trained and assessed operators. Created work instructions and material master data for all lines; created and maintained Shanghai PBOM and production routings; provided solution for BMC running error; finished Device Master Record (DMR) transfer and maintained; assisted R&D process and perform technical change requests (DCR&ECR); technically supported Planner/Buyer and GS. Sample unit building approved, mass production in China and drop shipment realized.  Successfully assisted RA Dept. writing Enterprise Standards of RM2235, RM2245/55/65 and SM2010R microtomes for registering at SFDA to be allowed to be sold in China.  Experience of on-site trouble-shootings (short- and long-term actions), to let production going on with Takt time and ensure OTD; achieved FPY above 95%; provided solution to non-compliance parts timely so to reduce inventory. Analyzed customer complaints and provided solutions (PSP method); use DBS tools to perform lean conversion (SW, Loading chart and Play book; optimized work processes and layout by RM2235 Kaizen event; designed Poka Yoke tools and saved cost); achieved 10% increment on work flow efficiency and about 10% reduction on PPM; cooperated with QA Dept., to help our company pass Danaher GMP, Nussloch QA, SFDA and TÜV audits and also internal audits. Successfully finished tasks for TG3-TG6, have project experience and ability of coordinating and communicating project issues; participated in weekly telephone conferences with Germany like: B03 transfer AP review meeting; steering committee meeting and Q-check finding meeting.

1) Jan. 2012 – Feb. 2013: Achieved 1.41million savings as main KPI in VAVE project with team; input more than 100 drawings of Karpo DM300 Microscope into PLM; participated in designing working stage and packaging of DMi1 Pangu inverted microscope; participated in project introduction for KaVo DSE dental device at early stage.2) Nov. 2010 – Jan. 2012: Invetech (Leica Melbourne) Standard Treatment Couch Project (as part of Robocouch of Accuray Cyberknife Systems): initiated product launch plan; coordinated relevant dept. for completion of TG3-TG6 and held regular meetings with Invetech and US customer Accuray to communicate for project progress; provided technical support for GS Dept. (including localization); calculated Benchmark Cost (BMC); set up product Device Master Record (DMR) and successfully made sample unit.

I made mechanical designs/improvement designs for S1000 Wire Sawing Machines for mono- and multicrystalline silicon ingots in solar energy industry; created and maintained production BOM; trouble-shootings at assembly line; realized mass production; analyzed and provided solutions for customer complaints.

1) Aug. 2000 – Feb. 2002: Mechanical Design Engineer at R&DI participated in several key dynamo design projects for Chinese auto plants and helped to put them in market successfully: Shanghai GM Sail SG10S012, Ya’xing-Benz SA14VI61, China Brilliance SG12B085 and Geely Merrie JFZ1611. My main tasks were: analyzed clients’ design requirements; calculated main parameters and made mechanical drawings by CATIA; communicated with French partner for technology transfer; provided technical support to supplier for bettering localized manufacturing; visited customers and demonstrated, installed and tested sample units for them; optimized design based on bench tests.2) Aug. 1999 – Aug. 2000: Technician at Sedan Starter WorkshopGot familiar with manufacturing processes; assisted to set up production plan; operated CNC and solved on-site machining problems.
