Conducting 8+ hours of weekly research on the history and current state of agriculture in relation to farmworker conditions, Indigenous activism, worker rights, and political movements. Publishing and curating 2-3 weekly public education resources through social media. Engaging with readers to foster productive dialogue. Attending and participating in national and international conferences on environmental and agricultural sustainability.

Organized diversity training and dialogues to promote cultural competency within the program. Hosted monthly information sessions for prospective students and parents. Actively represented the College of Liberal Arts at events such as open house and orientation. Maintained the quality of the organization by recruiting and conducting interviews with groups of 20 potential members per quarter.

Facilitated weekly dialogue sessions with groups of 10-15 undergraduate students. Established list of 15-20 guidelines to maintain respectful environment for all participants. Guided participants in 2 hour sessions dedicated to discussing complex and often uncomfortable conversations around subjects of race and other social identities. Provided participants with skills in conflict management and de-escalation through weekly group exercises.
