As a member of the Human Resources leadership team, I report to the Vice President, People and Culture. I am responsible for leading the strategy and operations of the talent acquisition function through the lens of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Lead the development and implementation of talent acquisition goals, objectives, metrics, budget, and work plans. Partner with key stakeholders to establish and/or update hiring and selection policies, guidelines, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance and streamline tasks in the recruiting process. Provide oversight of initiatives and programs such as social media recruiting, employment branding, university relations, summer internships, diversity outreach, and onboarding. Ultimately, I am responsible for designing and managing processes to enhance the experience for Council associates and candidates.

In my role, I identify, evaluate, and analyze recruitment sources. I also screen resumes, schedule interviews, conduct background checks, communicate to all applicants, and extend employment offers on behalf of my clients. I help coordinate the on-boarding process for new hires; and maintain and manage information on applicants in a CRM system. It is my job to ensure that the hiring process runs smoothly on both the client and the applicant side.
