At 31, I became the first person in my family to graduate college. I graduated with an Associate degree in Social Sciences. My passion for mental health goes far beyond my own experiences of attending therapy sessions and finding things that make me happy. I find motivation in listening to and helping others, and I love making people laugh. Other things that motivate me are talking about mental health issues such as addictions and disorders such as anxiety and depression. I decided to step into the mental health field by becoming an ABA therapist and implementing treatment plans for children with autism. If I can choose to help myself, why not choose to help others? This world needs more counselors and therapists, and I can share what I've learned from my personal experiences and continue to learn while doing what I passionately enjoy.
