Being a Resident Assistant included acting as a peer role model for every student in the building, and being able to counsel and help in any way. I was liable for building security and resident safety while working desk shifts, checking badges and guests in. Plans for community building and personal development activities were implemented monthly. I also met weekly with the Hall Director concerning hall recommendations and concerns.
