Carried out detailed technical risk assessment for various global mining players with mines spread across continents – Africa, Australia, Europe indulging in extraction of Gold, Copper, Coal, Cobalt, Diamond, Platinum, Iron-ore, Nickel, etc. and performed the analytics basis the loss history, type of risks and prepared the risk reports along with risk mitigation recommendations. Carried out risk survey and furnished the market report. Generated the RAM score for the facilities to categorize the type of risk.Represented the AIG – India and collaborated with AIG’s global leading mining experts to perform Mining Benchmarking exercises.

Evaluated various global mines and their Risk Assessment Matrix (RAM) score and provided recommendations for risk improvement and upscaling of operational standards. Evaluated the leading miners on basis on overall RAM score and management’s approach towards risk reduction and worked closely with the underwriter and to help choose the risk to write.

Worked extensively in the Technical Services department for Geological modelling, short & long term Mine planning using Minex software, designing of Haul roads, overburden dumps, drill – blast patterns (the angular drill-blast pattern for dragline benches). Modelled the drill holes charging pattern for optimal use of explosives and overall cost optimization. Worked as site drilling in-charge managing a team of 35 drillers. Drafted and analysed the MIS reflecting the daily and cumulative production, equipment running hours, availability and utilization, etc. Optimized the shovel truck fleet by modelling the truck requirement and evaluation of truck dispatch system (TDS).

Delivered through the SAP Material Management (MM) and Plant Maintenance (PM) Modules. Analysed the demand supply pattern of various assets of the mine and identified the key areas for possible cost reduction.Trained operators on the 5DT Simulator for one of the biggest sized equipment in India - 240T Dump Trucks, 42m3 Rope shovels, and 64m3 Draglines.
