Led 2 Software Development teams for AWS Organizations which owns 3-tier 1 services enabling programmatic AWS account creation, resource allocation, grouping of accounts and simplified billing across all AWS accounts. In 2019, led 2 Software Development teams which owned 12 tier-1 services responsible for creating and managing AWS AppStream resources globally. Under my leadership, the teams launched critical AppStream features like Private Links, enabling the service in new AWS regions, new instance types etc.

In 2014, launched path breaking Prime Now business from scratch, from idea to public launch in 111 days, pioneering the under 1 hour retail delivery experience and pushing the boundaries in logistic/supply-chain. I led the Prime Now Ordering team which built Checkout and Order fulfilment experience for PrimeNow. Built a scalable organization consisting of 4 Software development teams (4 SDMs, 3 QAEs, 1SDET, 2TPMs and 25 SDEs). Built a 5 year roadmap and incrementally delivered for 3+ years, building a scalable ordering and fulfilment platform which can handle the growth we saw in Prime Now business. Played a key role in the merger of Amazon Fresh and Prime Now Engineering organization by leading consolidation of Selection and Data Engineering groups, and by making the key decisions on right technology platform for running the combined business.Between 2011-2014, I worked as a Engineering leader in Kindle BookStore Organization. acted as Chennai site leader for the 40+ engineers of Kindle bookstore organization in Chennai, India. Led the Kindle International Expansion org which launched Kindle Bookstore in Europe and Asia across all surfaces. Architected the software to enable configuration driven store launch saving 70% development time. During 2012-14, led 3 Engineering teams (18 SDEs and 2 Managers) responsible for Ebook purchase workflows, Kindle Content Library and on device account creation. Built a new unified checkout experience for eBooks across 6 platforms and 12 countries delivering on VP goal. Led the Kindle Fire bookstore team in 2014, launching the Gen5 Fire Tablets with a brand new Bookstore experience.

Worked as tech lead in Amazon Webstore team and led the launch of an E-Commerce website for one of the largest retailers in the UK. Started managing the team from Sept 2009.
