I'm currently working as Applied Research Scientist at CVIT and IHub-Data, IIIT Hyderabad with Prof. C V Jawahar working in the space of mobility for technological development on road and driver safety in Indian driving conditions. Earlier worked as Professor at School of CSE, KLE Technological University, Hubballi. At KLE Tech had initiated a research lab in Multimodal Learning focusing on Vision and Language Models. My research interests include 2D/3D vision, machine/deep learning, multimodal learning (in language, vision, point clouds) and data science. I was Co-PI in two ICPS, DST sponsored research projects (i) Crowdsourcing framework for archiving and preservation of heritage sites and (ii) Underwater Digital Restoration of Heritage Sites involving data processing and 3D reconstruction.
