Shan L. Scott is an Ipswich, QLD, Australian writer with a penchant for the dark and macabre. Her interest in all things supernatural and her natural instincts in deftly weaving it into a tale makes her storytelling riveting. Her vast life experience can be perceived in the mature themes of her books, and the manner in which she approaches and explores often dark, yet extremely sensitive topics is a testament to her insight and innate desire for exposing the truth of a situation.Shan has a diverse background, from a career in Electronics in Central Queensland’s Coal mining belt, to Quality Assurance and bridge building in Brisbane, she has always enjoyed an intellectual challenge. She studied a B Digital Design at Griffith University and BA Archaeology at USQ and also had a brief stint at Medical School.Shan’s passion is for the arts, however. She enjoys writing, designing digital artwork and playing classical guitar. Shan’s latest novel is an historical, dark, and gritty crime novel, with a curse and a supernatural twist. It’s a race against the clock, fast paced drama with a touch of romance, loyalty, and friendship in the mix. Curse of Perdition is due for release on the 18th February 2023.The Second Sight Trilogy is a modern day tale which begins with a dark supernatural romantic drama, and increases in intensity and foreboding with each book, culminating in a nerve-wracking horror story by the final instalment.
