Shanna Hall David holds a Leadership License from the Alabama Department of Education and National Board Of Education Teacher Certification in the area of adolescent science. She holds a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership/Principles of Learning, and a Bachelor degree in Social Science from Cumberland University in Lebanon, TN. Mrs. David was chosen for the top 10 US Energy Teachers by NEED association in 2018, was a Northrup Grumman Fellow in 2019, and has completed the Maury Project and Project Atmosphere programs with NOAA and AMS. She was selected to attend the beginners and advanced workshops for educators in Aviation Education at Middle TN State University. Mrs. David was selected in 2016 to work with the US Space and Rocket Center to instruct other teachers in the summer space education workshop. Mrs. David has been a National presentor with the National Science Teacher Association over 7 times and has presented at the National Stem Teacher Association annual conference. Mrs. David has taught for 18 years in the middle school setting. Prior to teaching Mrs. David worked as a Special Investigator for the SIU Office at the Department of Children Services were she held a supervisory role.
