About Shanna Heath

I foster creative abundance. There are never too many stories in the world. Creativity needs an abundance mindset to flourish, and my goal is to provide a safe, welcoming, and supportive community that unlocks creative potential. Don't write alone when there is a thriving community of other writers who want to walk alongside you. Let's write your book TOGETHER.Through Manuscripts, I've worked with hundreds of authors as an Instructor and Developmental Editor. Nonfiction, fantasy, sci-fi, poetry, self-help, thought leadership, memoir--I've done it all! I have the uncanny ability to detect structure, identify themes, and bring out the YOU in your authorial voice.#WeNeedDiverseBooks and we need them now. I am queer and neurodivergent. Stories about people like me go to die on banned book lists. BIPOC authors and their stories are hugely underrepresented in traditional publishing. My mission is to create safe spaces for diverse storytellers to thrive. This involves a constant evolution of self to understand my own biases and privilege. The rising tide leaves no boat behind.Let's write your book together. It's about d*mn time!
