Before even graduating high school, I had a keen interest in helping other people. Nurturing this quality in myself has led me to choose secular work that would provide me with the needed latitude to pursue what interested me on a personal and spiritual level. Determining this at a young age has allowed the leverage on into my 30’s to provide a secure living for myself, while also being able to look back at nearly 18 years spent as a full time volunteer minister. Making myself available in this way presented so many opportunities that would have never crossed my path otherwise. I have been able to assist in the building or renovating more than 40 places of worship in 3 different states. Following 8 different natural disasters, I availed myself of the opportunity to devote time to relief efforts. Whatever secular profession I am pursuing at any given time in my life, I am grateful to continue to make a living. However, my true “career” will always be based on what I can do for others and wherever that takes me.
