Parallel Programming Lab | Department Of Computer Science

I assisted Prof. Laxmikant (Sanjay) Kale, the director of the Parallel Programming Laboratory with many research projects as well as provided administrative support. Some of my duties included tracking upcoming reports, proposals, and paper submission deadlines, proofreading reports and proposals, creating graphic designs, animations, editing videos, and managing the group websites and webpages, and project management. I served as project assistant and office coordinator for the dean of students. I assisted the associate dean of students with student affairs, managing multiple projects including registration, grade submission & updates, degree tracking for current masters students, event planning for graduation and orientation. I managed the dean and associate dean of student’s calendars. I managed the dean of students general email inbox and I monitored the student email list-host. I sent email notifications to students, faculty and staff. I completed licensing documentation for alumni. My primary responsibility was project management and I greeted students, faculty, staff, alumni and visitors at the reception desk for the office suite.

Campus Recreation

• As the Learn To Swim Coordinator, I was in charge of scheduling swim lessons, organizing the registration process, scheduling and training of swim instructors and coordinating with the parents and participants and the Campus Recreation administrators. I was supervising approximately 35 employees in this position. Approximately 400 participants were enrolled in swim lessons.• As a Head Lifeguard I was in charge of scheduling lifeguards, preparing payroll, training lifeguards, and coordinating between the patrons, lifeguards and administration. I supervised approximately 120 employees in this position.
