•Research and draft motions for on-going cases in all areas of law, with a focus on HOA/POA cases.

• Run searches on Westlaw or Lexis on predetermined topics• Read and review cases • Write case summaries to be published in the Fifth Circuit Reporter• Research for on-going cases on which Ms. Adrogué was asked to consult

•Read and evaluate both State and Appellant Petitions for Discretionary Review regarding all aspects of criminal convictions•Prepare detailed memorandum for judges recommending the Court either grant or refuse review of the Petition•Prepare a recommended Court Opinion when necessary•Attend weekly meetings with the judges to discuss recommendations Do legal research and writing for judges as requested

• All aspects of both state and federal civil law enforcement defense litigation • Manage personal docket of between 50 and 70 cases from filing through trial and appeal• Focus on defense of Texas Department of Criminal Justice officials and correctional officers, University of Texas Medical Branch personnel, and Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center personnel when sued by prisoners for constitutional violations•Research and writing of Responsive Pleadings, Motions to Dismiss, Motions for Summary Judgment, and Appellate Briefs•Attend settlement conferences and negotiate settlements
