Part time position working in a fast paced environment managing the reservation system during a shift and speaking directly with customers as they come in or on the phone.

Works closely with The Veterans Administration HUD VASH team to house Veterans residing at The New England Center and Home for Veterans that have VASH housing subsidies. Assists Veterans by addressing barriers to housing and advocating for Veterans to landlords. I run a motivational housing group for those Veterans transitioning into permanent housing and a group with other housing advocates for any Veteran in the center looking for housing to apply for opportunities within the area. I also sit on a Review Board once a week to meet with Veterans who have to be evaluated before entering the center or they have not been following the rules and regulations that are required for transitional residents.
