• I handle the enrollment and deductions for all the insurance benefits for our employees. This includes Medical, Dental, Life, STD, LTD, FMLA.• I audit insurance invoices and make any corrections necessary.• I am assisting in the creation or recreation of forms and in streamlining the forms, both in look and in content for use in Human Resources.• I have submitted and reviewed background checks.• I have edited and proofed several company manuals, including safety and vehicle policy manuals.• I worked with management in creating budget and insurance payment spreadsheets, and also helped when sending out payments. I had to make sure that the checks corresponded with the amounts listed on the spreadsheet, and went to the correct accounts.• I work in database management, helping make sure that information required for reporting is as accurate as possible.• I have processed payroll for our 9 California communities.• I have had some experience with Workers Compensation.• Audit payroll system to determine where overtime is generated from.• Worked with conversion from one payroll system to another.

• Credit / Commercial Collections • Accounting - I have worked on journal entries, property taxes, business licenses, entering budgets, bank reconciliations, some sales tax, and inventory reconciliation.• Human Resources • AR • AP• Industrial Engineering – I worked on several industrial engineering projects in order to try to make Corporate more efficient. The project that I am most proud of is the beginning of a Corporate Manual. I created step by step instructions for jobs that I was responsible for and when I left I had sent my instructions to HR and she was working with other employees to finish the Corporate Manual.
