The clinic serves the community by representing taxpayers who are unable to afford legal representation in federal income or employment tax disputes with the Internal Revenue Service.Students enrolled in the clinic benefit from the class instruction and clinical experience gained in representing clients under the supervision of faculty and the clinic. Students develop professional judgment and gain practical experience in resolving taxpayer disputes and negotiating settlements with the Internal Revenue Service, assisted by a faculty member and a supervising attorney. Students interview clients, draft briefs, prepare cases for appeals conferences, appear at the conferences and in court, prepare offers-in-compromise and file petitions with the U.S. Tax Court. The clinic is not a tax course, but benefits those wanting to practice in taxation.

Handled intake and data in SalesForce and Serve Manager. Generated company reports and conducted company research to analyze data and contribute to info-graphics. Worked closely with other members of the firm on a day to day basis. Engaged with various law firms & corporations in Atlanta and nationwide. Recruited legal professionals nationwide to support the organizational needs of the company.

Promoted to Assistant Department Manager for POV/Petites/Coats/Dresses immediately upon completing Retail Management Internship where I managed a team of 10 people.

Selected in competitive process to participate in highly-coveted eight week Retail Management Internship in which I learned the business through hands on exposure to sales, customer service & merchandising while working directly with key managers. Routinely made presentations at management meetings; responsible for helping manage two teams and multi-departmental sales goals, which I exceeded among other interns and seasoned sales associates on my team.

Helped develop the online social media platform for the Atlanta location by creating social media calendars, taking photographs for promotional content, and creating and executing the design and delivery of promotional content on multiple social media platforms including Facebook and Instagram.

Responsibilities included scheduling appointments, showing and selling bridal gowns and accessories, taking custom measurements, managing communications with customers. Supervised and scheduled two bridal assistants, managed the store, participated in a designer trunk show, placed and track custom orders, communicated with suppliers.

Professionally greeted guests, took quality portraits of small and large groups and sold the photographs directly to guests. Achieved #1 in daily sales several times.

This position was created for me based on my informal photography the prior summer. My responsibilities were to take candid camp photographs of hundreds of campers each week while they were involved in all camp activities and organize and upload the photos to Snapfish on a weekly basis. I also produced camp audio/visual slide shows using PowerPoint.

Guided and worked with groups of campers and helped them adjust to camp life by developing new friendships and having fun through carefully designed age appropriate activities. I also worked one-on-one with Autistic campers.
