Production Artist temp @ Sanford Business to Business. I was setting up, redrawing or recreating customers one color and multi-colored logos to be imprinted on Sanford's writing instruments in Adobe Illustrator. Also prepared B&W, 3D colored proofs and virtual colored proofs which are presented for the customers final approval. I also worked with a film processor

My responsibilities included setting up artwork for vinyl graphics or paint masks to be applied on various types of vehicles. I had to order the vinyl & paint mask materials, estimate time and supply costs. I have little experience in job estimation costs and would need more training in that area.

Sanford Business to Business was also Gillette Co & Parker Pen.My responsibilities included setting up, redrawing and recreating customers one color and multi color logos in Adobe Illustrator to be printed or engraved on Sanford writing instruments and other stationary products. I prepared black & white, 3d colored proofs & virtual proofs which were presented to the customer for final approval.Because the nature of the business is event driven, we had to meet very short (tight) deadlines to ensure the customer's event dates were not compromised while at the same time maintaining a high level of accuracy. In 2003 & 2004 I continued to maintain the highest output within the department with one of the highest levels of accuracy.Very proficient @ multi-tasking and re-prioritizing as order lead times and ship dates often change before the final shipment of the order to meet the customers expectations and event dates.Experience using flatbed scanner. Experience using Autocad & Jimani to hatch the logos to be engraved on stainless steel & lacquer pen products. Agfa unit was used to transfer the computerized vector art image to film. The film would later be sent to a different dept to be transferred to screens & cliches.I also had to clean & operate a chemical processor.
