As one of the lead planners of the Childcare Enhancement Grants, I reviewed and adjudicated grant applications, allocating $925,000 in grant funding. Using my analytical and organizational skills, I developed a grant procedural process to centralize tracking and management of social policy grants. In addition to my role on the grants team, I oversaw and contributed to various projects in Social Policy. Two of the main projects I managed included, Dementia-Friendly City Train-the-Trainer and Social Isolation and Loneliness Among Seniors. I worked closely with community groups, people with lived experience, and stakeholders, to develop an effective project that addressed relevant issues and build upon areas of strength.
