Responsible for building and managing all B2C e-Commerce and brand websites for Beam Suntory globally.• Built customer-centric web experiences that successfully navigated complex alcohol distribution laws globally.• Managed a team of 60+ developers, QA analysts and architects to deliver projects across numerous workstreams and technologies.• Designed and implemented the architecture that underpins all global brand web sites and Magento 2 B2C e-Commerce sites using technologies such as Microsoft Azure AppServices and Azure Kubernetes Services.• Modernized Beam Suntory IT’s approach to digital delivery with the following enhancements: agile delivery, CI/CD pipelines, automated QA testing using AccelQ, automated security scanning during the build process using Fortify.• Led efforts to develop Beam Suntory’s first global bartender outreach platform—The Blend. Architected the platform and served as on-site support during program’s launch in Berlin.• Helped Beam Suntory expand our development resource pool by establishing a 3rd IT hub in India—the other two being Chicago and Madrid, Spain. Identified and hired several resources and helped to build our ways of working across vastly different time zones.• Responsible for rebuilding Beam Suntory’s Product Locator application, which is integrated into nearly all of our brand websites and allows consumers to find our products globally.• Led resource optimization efforts in our Microsoft Azure cloud, which resulted in more than $100k in annual savings.• Managed relationships with key vendors and built a network of trusted partners.

Responsible for all internally-managed Beam Suntory customer-facing brand sites (JimBeam.com, BeamSuntory.com, etc.). Led efforts to reduce our Azure hosting footprint (by assessing platforms, consolidating virtual machines, optimizing backup procedures, etc.) – resulting in more than $200k in annual OpEx savings. Managed architecture, development and governance across a diverse set of workstreams, skillsets and platforms including: Salesforce, Magento, Office 365 (Skype, Exchange, SharePoint), .Net application development, PHP-based CMS development (Drupal, WordPress, etc.), Dell Boomi, MIM, SSO, Jitterbit, and SAP SuccessFactors integration. Managed more than 40 developers across various projects, vendors, workstreams and geographies.

• Led architecture and development efforts for Beam Suntory’s global learning management platform. The application is a custom Azure-hosted SharePoint 2013 implementation using authentication for internal users from Azure Active Directory and external users using Azure Active Directory B2C and Microsoft Azure ACS for SAML token conversion. Managed the offshore development team who performed day-to-day maintenance and support of the application

Designed and developed K-12 SaaS application using AngularJS and Web API 2 with the goal of improving instruction by providing teachers with the tools they need to track, and impact, student progress. System currently provides reporting, data entry and other services to more than 3,000 teachers and serves more than 25,000 students a year. Attended yearly Reading Recovery trade shows to showcase and market our product. Re-architected and re-developed our solution every two to three years based on projected user growth, storage needs and desired features. Current solution resides in Microsoft Azure with a one-client-per-database model using an elastic database pool to minimize costs. Web API and AngularJS projects are deployed to Azure as separate Azure App Services and can be scaled and updated independently.

Led architecture and development efforts for Kraft's O365-D environment. Designed and implemented enterprise management tools in Windows Azure, implemented them as apps. Designed a migration strategy for 9000+ highly customized site collections from SharePoint 2010 to 2013. Created an AngularJS/Web API 2 migration management system for migrating site collections from on-premise farms to Office 365. The solution migrated sites via PowerShell/Sharegate API and was controlled using the AngularJS application via Azure Queues.

Consolidated several legacy SharePoint 2007 farms to a single farm for 10,000+ user base. This included re-writing and re-architecting several solutions from previous developers and 3rd parties. Designed and implemented an upgrade path from SharePoint 2007 to SharePoint 2010. Implemented a mix of Feature-based and migration tool-based (Metalogix) solutions to various upgrade issues. Envisioned and architected the new 2010 intranet with an eye toward an impending upgrade to SharePoint 2013.

Responsible for several SharePoint architecture, development and business analysis projects. Worked with clients to analyze their environments and existing code to come with implementation strategies for upgrading or implementing various versions of SharePoint and other Microsoft products.

Developer on a custom Microsoft Content Management Server 2002 implementation. Solution was used by teachers and law students to manage assignments. Utilized ASP.Net 2.0, Telerik RADControls as well as several other control suites to get the desired user interface interactions.

Developed solutions for clients based on Microsoft technologies. Implemented a Windows Service to interact with Exchange Server 2000 to synchronize contacts between PeopleSoft and Outlook.

Developer on project to migrate 30,000+ user SharePoint 2001 intranet to new SharePoint 2003 farm. Developed custom solution to meet concurrent user performance targets.
