This team was primary Platform focused on scalability and support of our Data Engineering product teams. Provide comprehensive database modeling, ETL management and source system ingestions. This included all of the end to end data management and deployment processes. We maintain many data sources with high volume and concurrency and provide data as frequently as every 15 minutes for some key Dashboards. We work closely to our Business Analyst to understand and add details to the request to ensure an accurate estimation and solution deliver. Metadata documentation, critical logic analysis, and heavy data quality testing was also important elements of this role. We collaborated closely with our source system technology partners to establish all SLA details and added the details into our metadata to produce method for monitoring and measuring data quality and expected thresholds (rowcounts, frequency and much more. There was a strong performance optimization need and we spent valued time addressing query performance through indexing, SQL Structure changes and DB Settings. This role required on-call support rotation.
