Before joining Pearson Education, I helped grow the visibility and market presence of Indianapolis’ historic Athenæum and Rathskeller event and restaurant venue. Prior to the Athenæum Rathskeller, I managed the flagship facility of Los Angeles-based Mad River Post, a leading film & commercial post production. During my tenure, MRP grew from a single location to a bi-coastal, award-winning company, with offices in New York and San Francisco, which I helped launch.The bulk of my experience and business contribution is from my years with Pearson Education and involvement in the growth of the online learning market. Providing turn-key solutions to all aspects of operational dealings, specifically to Pearson’s Online Program Management division, has been my main responsibility. Helping define and employ fluid processes in departments of AP, HR, and Finance and, improving the systems that enable these processes, is my focus and areas of expertise. Born and raised in Indianapolis, I am devoted to my husband, of 18 years and our rescue mutt, Bert. We spend our free time hiking locally and backpacking western mountain ranges.
