Shannon Heth is the ultimate communications practitioner, every day challenging herself and the MILK team to reconsider better ways to integrate smart thinking with creative storytelling. Her ability to seamlessly move across disciplines – she is equally at home as creative director, PR strategist, art director, copywriter, and business marketer – sets the foundation for an agency that does not separate between strong strategy, compelling creative, and healthy business results. Shannon’s creative background extends across multiple communications disciplines. She began her career as a copywriter at Fjord Digital, a division of Cossette, where she scripted radio spots for Prospera Credit Union, crafted taglines for McDonald’s billboards and developed website copy for Bell Media. Shannon’s passion for art would lead her to New York City in 2007, where she worked at Blue Medium Inc managing PR projects for Deutsche Bank, Pulse Art Fair, Prospect 1 New Orleans and Lehmann Maupin Gallery. Shannon returned to Vancouver in 2008, and began an independent PR consultancy that quickly grew into a fortified business under her surname, Heth PR. Early clients were in the hospitality space and in 2016, Shannon rebranded Heth PR into MILK Creative Communications with the goal of providing creative communications strategy for national and international brands. Since then she has conceived and executed campaigns, media relations, events and stunts for Kit & Ace, H&M, Fjallraven, Nespresso, Earls Restaurants, Tourism Mexico City, The Amazing Brentwood, Peak Performance, Pure Sunfarms, Olympic Dairy, Constellation Brands Canada, Athleta, Land Rover, The Vancouver Art Gallery, and The Vancouver Mural Festival.
