A lawyer by training, I found my way into the world of legal recruiting by way of curiosity, the 2008 crash, and a lucky family connection. Over my 13 years in the business, I've spent significant time in recruiting, business development, and management (where I current reside at Paragon). I love search - matchmaking, building the experience for candidates and clients, and getting to walk both individuals and organizations through some of their biggest decisions. Being great at this work requires creativity, persistence, humor, more humor, and a steel stomach, all of which I try to instill in my team through coaching, listening, and sharing of my own "I thought I was going to get fired when..." war stories. In a stroke of good timing, I feel fortunate to be here at a time when the business and practice of law are changing, and mostly for the better.Outside of work, I travel and read. Preferably at the same time. Follet, Towles, Krakauer, Doyle, Steel...I really try to mix it up. I was also diagnosed with non-muscular invasive bladder cancer in 2021 and want to help normalize the experience of people working with cancer.
