I am doing a partnered fellowship project as a UAB School of Nursing DNP student with a Samford University PharmD student to improve access to integrated primary and mental health care for individuals who are uninsured/underinsured in the Birmingham Area.

As a Private Independent Practitioner, Clinical Social Worker and Master's Prepared Registered Nurse, I am in collaborative practice. I am further certified in Rapid Trauma Resolution and offer this to fellow veterans, trauma survivors and those experiencing frozen grief. I also hold AACN Clinical Nurse Leader certification and offer therapeutic and case management services to those suffering from chronic illness or mental health needs.

Began as a non-rated personnel in the Port of Houston where I went on to participate in SAR operations and as a Boarding Officer. After several years in a law enforcement role I transferred into Administration and trained for YN in the Personnel Reporting Unit at Group Mobile. After making PO I was sent to District HQ in New Orleans to develop a process to transition to paperless service records. My entire career I assisted our Chief GM with preparation, set up, instruction and take down for range qualifications.
