As a Business Manager in CRM, I was responsible for a wide range of key areas including:- Training, developing and leading new team members- Model development and ongoing maintenance and monitoring of model performance - Quarterly forecast and allowance updates (US GAAP and IFRS9)- Stress Testing (CCAR and DFST)- Automation and enhancement of standardized performance reporting- Identification and remediation of data quality concerns- Audit readiness of key documents - Being a SME (subject matter expert) in data structures impacting our departmentAll this required developing and maintaining a close working relationship with multiple stakeholders, strong communication skills, and a detailed oriented focus in order to effectively manage multiple projects at the same time.

In this role, I focused on improving efficiencies and reducing the amount of time the department spends on non-value add tasks, which freed up significant time to dedicate to model development and improvement as well cultivating stronger relations with our partners in the business.

As a Senior Analyst, I developed and implemented a valuation framework which fundamentally shifted how we view Collections by focusing less on dollars saved from charge off / write off and more on future value generated from customers that we saved. I took a larger strategic role by managing the annual program approval credit decisions for the department (which sets out our department goals and thresholds for the year) as well as took lead on training new hires.

As a Business Analyst in the Risk Operations department, I focused on the strategic development of customer focused tools targeted at our most venerable clients. This role allowed me to gain experience in multiple areas including collections, recoveries, data infrastructure and mining, operation of call centres, and vendor management.
