I am currently an intern for an amazing non-profit organization called Austin Angels who help and support foster families in the Austin area. As a Communication Studies major, I utilize my skills by developing compelling writing content to reach out to sponsors, partners, and potential volunteers in various ways. These include emails, newsletters, and blogging. I also create social media graphics to promote and help Austin Angels grow.

I am a server/waitress at Forthright Cafe where I provide exceptional service to every one of my customers. I get to utilize my communication skills with this job by meeting all kinds of new people and assuring they have the best experience possible.

I was an intern for YETI Coolers for ten months and had the opportunity to do all kinds of things for the company. I did everything from reorganizing supply rooms to reconciling executive's receipts and assisting the Human Resources department with on-boarding tasks. I was able to utilize my communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of personnel including managers and executives.
