Shannon is an international development professional with over 15 years of experience in developing effective and efficient workstreams for global nonprofit organizations operating in Africa, Eurasia and the United States. She is skilled in diverse donor relationship management and has successfully implemented projects under US government and large private foundation donors. Shannon is passionate about locally led development and has designed and implemented strategies to strengthen the organizational capacity of NGOs that support community-based organizations in building their institutional capacity, programmatic abilities, and technical outputs to effect positive, sustainable and systemic change at local, national and regional levels in areas such as child rights, early childhood development, ending child marriage, girls’ empowerment, and public health.
