Duties include workingwith the Apogee NOC to restore/replace core switches and components in response tonetwork outages and system upgrades. In addition to core coverage, I'm also required torespond to building and individual room work orders which typically include WiFi accesspoint, network cable/port servicing and resident end user support.In a secondary role, I provide CATV system maintenance for Furman, Clemson, Wofford,UNC Asheville and East Tennessee State Universities. These duties include-maintainingOTA antennas and processors, KU band SAT dishes, processors and modulators, localorigination processors, emergency alert systems, fiber optic transmitters/receivers/patchcable & coax amplification and distribution. Twice yearly preventive maintenance visits,plant design and upgrades are also included responsibilities. During the summer months,I'm often required to work with the installation team to build newly acquired sites.In both roles I'm required to respond to campus issues within a contracted SLA andmaintain a amiable and professional relationship with campus officials and technicians.
