Relationship Safety Alliance's (RSA) Executive Director is the face of the organization in the community. Ms. Wussow is responsible for overseeing the administration, programs and strategic plan of the organization. Key duties include fundraising, marketing, and community outreach. Ms. Wussow reports to the Board of Directors of Relationship Safety Alliance. RSA's mission is to save lives by supporting the journey to wellbeing and empowerment of all people exposed to relationship abuse. The collective voices of survivors and advocates will transform our community to one where healthy relationships thrive, abuse is not tolerated and individuals have the resources needed to succeed. For mission accomplishment, program quality and long-term sustainability Ms. Wussow provides leadership, management and oversight of programs and human and financial resources. In partnership with the Board of Directors she serves as the liaison to stakeholders to promote and support RSA's mission, vision, goals and values. In addition to the operational responsibilities, Ms. Wussow offers vision, significant employee collaboration and experience and skills to develop organization-wide strategies and processes to support growth.

Facilitated offender change while monitoring compliance with court-ordered conditions by means of Evidence Based Practices according to the agency’s vision and mission. Prepared court reports, offender risk assessments, investigations and social histories; develop strength based case plans; supervised medium- and high-risk adult offenders assigned to the domestic violence caseload individually and other offenders in groups; prepared specific curriculum to offender groups; and coordinated a variety of program functions in order to provide offender and victim services. Provided consultation to peers on cases of highest complexity and provided in-service training for new staff, lead projects and initiatives. Demonstrated the capacity to address cases of significant complexity in a sensitive and supportive manner, applying technical expertise, observational skills, problem solving skills and communication skills to effectively serve the client population.

Prepared clear and concise investigation reports on offenders to be used by various correctional authorities to assist them in making sentencing, case planning and releasing decisions. Independently conducted collateral research and interviews necessary to prepare a comprehensive assessment of an offender with particular emphasis on prior criminal and delinquent involvement in order to determine/recommend appropriate supervision levels. Formulated sentencing and violation recommendations for the court and testify when needed. Utilized discretion to provide supervision and casework by monitoring behavior and compliance of administrative, low-risk, medium-risk and high-risk cases consistent with CMCC policy in order to protect public safety and facility law-abiding behavior. Provided all required collateral contacts with law enforcement, community services, victims, families and/or others. Provided all other required reports to the courts and DOC. Served as a CMCC representative at trainings and on local committees.

Provided quality instruction to learners by ensuring satisfaction through the classroom setting according to the school’s “We Care” vision and mission and the program objectives. Taught material from approved curriculum and developed daily lesson plans to include instructional aids. Provided regular, accurate and timely feedback to learners and the school concerning academics, behavior, attendance, etc. Motivated learners to actively participate in all aspects of the educational process. Utilized a variety of instruction styles and methods to accommodate the students’ diverse learning needs. Completed professional development and in-service activities in accordance with school standards. Maintained expertise in subject area.

Provided the overall management and supervision of all PORT Boys Group Home residents, treatment plans and staff members. Responsible for the overall therapeutic climate and safety of the residents. Ensured the PORT SOP and MN DOC Umbrella Rule 2960 were followed. Effectively communicated with referral agents, parents/guardians, government officials, treatment facilities and community resources. Responsible for making fiscally responsible decisions and pursued creative funding options for various needs and activities of the group home. Served as a PORT representative at state and county conferences and on local committees.

Reported to regulatory agencies. Completed file audits to insure company remained in compliance with policies and licensing rules and regulations. Maintained documents, files and records to insure program compliance. Conducted mock inspections, internal compliance audits and risk identification and made recommendations for improvement.
