Lead the fundraising team, overseeing general operating support, donor relations, and strategic partnerships. Manage operations, drive new business development, and cultivate long-term donor relationships to support New America's mission.

Develop and implement fundraising strategies including market analysis, business development, pipeline management, team management, and executive relationship management to bolster New America programs, research, and policies.

Represent McKinsey & Co. and particularly the McKinsey Black Network at the highest levels across business communities across the globe, strategizing, and executing growth and amplification of partnerships and communications. This includes a multi-stakeholder approach, cross-functional collaboration, and innovative thinking to drive excellence.

Represent Discovery Education at the highest levels within the business community, cultivating, nurturing and developing relationships at the national, regional and local levels to further business objectives. Manage growth conversations with current Coalition partners, including coordinating strategy and ongoing partnership engagement, supporting all aspects of ongoing cultivation, partnership and program development and negotiation.

Cultivating new partnerships with like-minded organizations who share our mission to support teaching and learning and have a measurable impact on student achievement. Actively building a pipeline for the corporate education partnerships team through proactive outreach and relationship cultivation with Associations, Foundations, Fortune 500 Companies, Non-Profits, and Philanthropists that share Discovery Education’s mission of transformation.

Created the strategic plan and vision of Annual Giving program goals and alumni giving participation. Managed and created strategic plans for year-long Phonathon Program and launched first ever, annual Giving Day, a 24 hour fundraising drive for alumni, faculty/staff, students and supporters of Winthrop.

Proven ability to independently manage multiple project and tasks concurrently and effectively prioritize in a fast paced work environment to meet tight deadlines and income targets.
