Community Cares Partners (CCP), a program of Communities Foundation of Oklahoma, is a public-private partnership created by the federal government to disperse emergency rental and utility assistance to Oklahomans affected by COVID-19. Through my role as senior communications director, I help struggling Oklahomans experiencing housing insecurities. Over $333 million in rent relief was distributed to help 82,400 families. • Directed the strategic objectives of the communications team to generate program awareness increasing applications submitted to meet the goal of distributing over $333M in rental assistance by the funding deadline. • Developed a statewide marketing campaign to generate brand awareness with a limited operating budget of $175,000. Hired a marketing agency to help achieve organization objectives and marketing strategy.• Connected with audiences on various platforms resulting in 1.64M social media impressions and 63.2M unique website views within a year. • Managed press relations and inquiries, while regularly pitching media and news outlets. • Served on the senior leadership team and contributed to federal quarterly reporting. Helped strategize the direction of the organization.• Led and hired two teams – The Communications team: responsible for all internal and external communications and platforms; and the Cleveland County team, responsible for processing applications and assisting applicants on the eviction docket at court.

Science Museum Oklahoma is the state's only hands-on science museum and one of the largest science museums in the nation.• Directed the strategic objectives of the communications department to meet the museum's mission and goals.• Supervised staff of one (1) employee, with an operating budget of $175,000. Served as a member of the Adventure District Marketing committee.• Developed and implemented a marketing plan for the fiscal year, including brand awareness, public relations, advertising, social media, and customer communication. • Actively communicated with and secured media coverage from various media outlets.• Developed and implemented a social media strategy and content calendar.

A rehabilitation hospital providing 24-hour medical care for children with complex medical and rehabilitation needs. • Designed and created marketing collateral for campaigns and initiatives. Developed social media strategies. • Helped rebrand and managed the Hospital’s website. Developed a strategy that increased website traffic by 180%.• Evaluated all digital marketing campaigns, completed monthly reports, and proactively participated in team meetings with the Director of Communications & Marketing and Administration.• Led a direct mail campaign that raised over $300,000 and an ROI of 328%.Introduced a new company email marketing platform, exceeding average industry email open rates by 5%.• Planned and executed special events that raised more than $265,000.
