CurrentManages the daily operations of the office to include retaining new clients, scheduling hearings, developing marketing material, and working closely with opposing counsel and judicial assistants.Accountable for the financial management of the law firm from trust accounting and reporting to bookkeeping and accounts payable/receivables as well as collections. Responsible for a high volume caseload consisting of contested divorce actions, paternity suits, child custody and child support actions as well as criminal, business litigation, foreclosure issues, homeowners association, creditors rights, landlord/tenant issues, and probate cases; drafts petitions, complaints, motions, proposed judicial orders, pretrial memorandums, and notices; and conducts legal research in the aforementioned areas of the law.Regularly attends case management conferences, hearings, depositions, and mediations; appears at Department of Revenue actions, 11 USC §341 creditor meetings, and Bureau of Administrative Review hearings in both State and Federal Court.Additionally, has worked as a consultant with several law firms in the Hillsborough, Pinellas, and Polk county areas.
