After graduating from Loyola College in Maryland in 1998, I was recruited by Agora Publishing, one of the largest financial newsletter publishers in the United States, to oversee the marketing efforts for its largest division, the Oxford Club. A year later, I was recruited by The Sovereign Society, another division of Agora to oversee day to day operations and manage all publishing activities for the group. In my 12+ years with The Sovereign Society, I spent a considerable amount of time getting to know and understand the needs of high net worth individuals and their families. I traveled extensively throughout Europe, Asia, The Caribbean and Central America seeking out opportunities and contacts for subscribers to The Sovereign Society. I co-authored 2 books, Offshore Investments That Safe Guard Your Cash (Wiley 2008) and The Insured Portfolio (Wiley 2010). In the summer of 2012, I assumed the Publisher role for a joint venture Agora developed with HS Dent called Boom & Bust. In December 2012, Agora acquired HS Dent and we developed Dent Research. Our publications, included Economy & Markets and The Rich Investor as well as Boom & Bust, Peak Income and Hidden Profits - all monthly stock newsletters. We reached over 350,000 readers world wide and offered a variety of research products. In 2017 we expanded our offerings with the launch of Charles Street Research, offering a variety of financial newsletters, including : - Hidden Profits with John DelVecchio- Seven Figure Trader with Adam O’Dell- Peak Income with Charles Sizemore - Big Market Trends With J.C. Parets- Deep State Declassified and Stockman Letter with David Stockman, the ultimate Washington insider turned iconoclast.In February 2020, my path with Agora pivoted yet again to launch Big Impact Media, building several independent media outlets and marketing channels with large readerships that will cater to the growing and unique marketing demands of the financial and health newsletter industry.After 22 years it was time for a change. I parted ways with Agora in 2021 to spend more time raising our boys during Covid and to plot the next phase of my career - launching my own business. That’s when Ground Swell Creative was born. Entirely different then seedy side of marketing I was seeing in the FinPub space, I now focus on helping local brick and mortar businesses here in the Ocean City, MD area with digital marketing. Specifically social media, local SEO, google business optimization, websites, email marketing, geo-fencing and more.
