Living and working by the philosophy that if you focus on helping people when they need it most, you can create the kind of sustainable change we need to address society's most stubborn inequities. After focusing on environmental science for my Bachelor of Science and environmental policy for my Master of Environmental Management, I began my career in social services as a policy analyst with the state of California. Shortly after, I founded Two Daughters Foundation, a non-profit inspired by my and my sister's loss of our mother. The goal of our non-profit is to provide support and community to teens and young adults facing the diagnosis, treatment, or loss of a parent with serious illness.
