- Lead transformation of BART parking lots into great places to live, work, and play - aiming to incorporate significant levels of affordable housing while increasing transit ridership and reducing automobile usage. Projects include El Cerrito Plaza, North Berkeley, and Ashby BART stations.- Coordinate solicitations and negotiations with developers for transit-oriented development (TOD).- Serve as internal BART resource on affordable housing, especially affordable housing finance, including Low Income Housing Tax Credits, tax-exempt bonds, and state, county, and regional funds.- Assist with implementing Assembly Bill 2923 (2018, Chiu/Grayson) and SB 35 (2017, Wiener)

Affordable housing consulting in policy, finance, and program development. Clients included San Francisco Department of Homelessness and Supportive Housing, TODCO, Contra Costa Housing Trust Fund campaign, Non-Profit Housing Association of Northern California (NPH), Eden Housing, and Tenderloin Neighborhood Development Center (TNDC).

Managed all aspects of multiple complex affordable housing projects, both new construction and major renovation:- Acquisition and $56 million rehab of Ping Yuen Apartments: 234 units of family housing on 3 blocks in the heart of Chinatown. Ping Yuen is the largest of San Francisco's RAD (Rental Assistance Demonstration) public housing conversion projects. Added 2500 sq. ft. community center and supportive services offices. Renovation completed in 2019. - New construction of 2060 Folsom Street: 127 apartments with supportive services for low-income families and homeless Transition-Age Youth (TAY) plus significant community facilities, in partnership with Mission Economic Development Agency (MEDA). Completion scheduled for 2020. - Completed rehabilitation of Tenderloin Family Housing (175 family units), 2014.

Drove all aspects of multiple simultaneous affordable housing projects. Major projects included Kelly Cullen Community (featured at top of page), 174 units of supportive housing for chronically homeless adults in a a historic former YMCA, as well as Willie B. Kennedy Apartments, 98 supportive apartments for seniors including 20 units set aside for homeless seniors.

Led development of new 20-unit supportive housing development serving adults with developmental disabilities, as well as renovation of existing supportive housing. Helped craft Inclusionary Zoning legislative amendments with Council of Community Housing Organizations. Managed community planning process for Mission Street south of Cesar Chavez Street, uniting diverse stakeholders around a shared vision for a critical commercial corridor with many immigrant-owned small businesses.

As the collective voice of those who support, build, and operate affordable housing, NPH promotes the proven methods offered by the non-profit housing sector and focuses government policy on housing solutions.

Provided technical assistance in housing development, organizational development, and policy to community-based housing nonprofits and public agencies in Minnesota, North Dakota, and Arizona.

• Managed The Altamont, an SRO providing supportive housing for 88 formerly homeless adults, many with mental or physical disabilities and/or substance use issues. Coordinated tenant programs and services as well as property management. Supervised 10 staff, including resident programs, front desk, and maintenance staff.• As Tenant Coordinator, provided supportive services, gave information & referrals, organized activities, and helped create tenant board.
