I am a Mexican American Graphic Designer, Educator, and Advocate with a passion for storytelling and justice. With a career spanning design and academia, I specialize in creating compelling brand identities and impactful deliverables for nonprofits, driving increased funding, corporate partnerships, and volunteer engagement.As an educator, I develop inclusive curriculums and innovative design projects that empower students to center their identities and lived experiences. I went to 2-3 free shows in an average week. Discovered dozens and dozens of emerging artists, and mentored interns who were nearly ten years older than me. Politely refused regular opportunities to partake in cocaine use. 1998 - 2000Lied about my age to get my first "real job" in the music industry. As and Advertising Assistant I researched available marketing opportunities, managed artist advertising budgets, assembled a marketing plan, and pretended not to notice that everyone in the industry was on cocaine.
