I believe that education becomes more powerful outside of a traditional classroom setting. Throughout my undergraduate career at the University of Texas at Austin, I have taken every opportunity to explore the varied ways in which institutions—museums, archives, libraries and even public squares—can become sites for understanding and interpreting complicated histories, and facilitating important conversations catalyzed by various forms of media. I am currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Museum Studies with a concentration in Museum Management at George Washington University. I am dedicated to furthering my educational and relationship building background through Museum Fundraising, Development, and Advancement to strengthen educational opportunities within cultural heritage institutions.
