• Managed all materials, warehousing, inventory control, receiving, master planning/scheduling and machine shop functions/teams (direct & indirect) managing over 12,000 different SKUs (stock keeping units) valuing over $62 million within multiple storage facilities. • Led SAP Warehouse Management System (WMS) integration project implementation which consisted of: new SAP module (IM to WM system), bin storage configuration, RF device, and barcoding system, materials kitting, storage (Vertical Lift Module integration and implementation), logistics and planning procedures. • Improved delivery to receipt receiving cycle time from two weeks to less than 24 hours. • Successfully relocated $6 million in raw material from old warehouse to new warehouse, restructured racking storage footprints, and implemented SAP WMS which resulted in improved warehouse accuracy from 67% to 98%, and doubled the materials storage capabilities. • Consolidated Point of Use raw material by 20% through improved excess and obsolete materials tracking, and scrap procedures. • Improved machine shop production lead time, process flow, p-tube scrap, and inventory variances (by more than 65%) utilizing a new forecast and scheduling process which eliminated over processing waste by more than 50%, simplified production planning procedures and improved raw material order consumption timing (overall inventory turnover rate).
