Acted as a volunteer leader for Nash County Relay for Life. Orchestrated a leadership committee of 12 for an even that hosted over 4,000 and raised record-breaking amounts of funds for the American Cancer Society. Recognized as an All-American Event by the National Committee of the ACS.

Supporting the VP of the division, I identified and resolved external /internal image & branding concerns/opportunities as well as issues affecting engagement & client satisfaction. I handled communications management and acted as associate editor of internal newsletter. I identified and implemented retention activities incl. planning, preparing & facilitating an Annual Family Fun Day, Customer Service Week, Employee of the Year recognition & celebration, equipping a Fitness Center for employee use and numerous other recognition & retention activities. Directly responsible for implementing & executing new projects, including process flows, documentation and procedures for company-wide committees. I determined the need for, recommended and coordinated personnel development and training. I enjoy developing curricula, conducting training classes & incorporating lessons directly related to the division’s mission and purpose. I also handled travel & event management for the Division and acted as a liaison to Human Resources and corporate headquarters in St. Louis and Ontario, CA.

I enjoyed the challenges & rewards of offering staffing solutions to those seeking employment & personnel at Kelly. I learned B2B 'sales through service.' My primary functions incl servicing internal & external clients, recruiting, managing & retaining qualified candidates for positions within the greater Rocky Mount, NC area. I provided support & assistance to the Division Manager, including solicitation of new business opportunities; maintaining local, national and regional client relationships; researching & tracking business growth opportunities; & being appointed a local Team Leader, managing the local office & training all new hires. I implemented & maintained solid recruiting & retention plans while managing all recruiting media. Most proud acheivment: Above & Beyond Award winner; nominated by manager & awarded by VP of division; presented to me in recognition of my tireless commitment to service; not hesitating to implement star-quality service with every client, every time.

Implementing previous experience in the stage & film industries, I began with the company as an instructor & was given an opportunity to lead in a short amount of. While orchestrating a staff of 25 in sales, marketing, instruction & office mgmt, I also implemented a strong customer service ability to work with parents, students & agency clients, to ensure a positive experience in a potentially volatile field. I made certain that models & actors kept expanding their portfolios by booking agency & promo work in commercials, film, print and runway.Ultimately, the main objective was to keep the center running smoothly & generate a high volume of sales for the training facility. I was successful in generating around $35k per month; which kept our center in the top 10 across the country. I traveled throughout NC and VA soliciting students to train in Raleigh. The most rewarding of all, was traveling to local schools talking about self-worth & esteem to 11-18 year olds.
