I am a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the School of Journalism and Mass Communications. I am receieved a bachelor’s degree focused on strategic communications and reporting as well as communication science and rhetorical studies. I also completed certificates in digital studies, studio arn and graphic design. I previously worked as the Communications Assistant at UniverCity Alliance. During my college career, I was an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Mass Communication Research Center at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I was also the President of the Madison chapter of Association of Women in Communications as well as the president of the Communication Arts Student Association at UW-Madison. In the past, I have worked at FuGENE, as a Marketing and Design intern. My passions include media effects, social media, design and strategic communication. I have experience in creating campaigns for clients through my schooling and have produced work for the City of Waunakee battling mental health stigma. I have also worked on Curb magazine, where I created layouts and wrote a feature story included in the magazine. I have created the layouts for UW-Madison's premier travel magazine, Souvenirs. I have also written for Moda Magazine in the Culture section and Lifestyle section. Through these experiences, I look to combine both my design skills and writing to reach my audience in new ways.I am passionate about the impacts of social media on the public, mental health issues, creative design, and strategic writing. Through my work, I have also further developed my passion for helping communities and focusing on their specific needs. I enjoy exploring ways to visually convey information and creating art that speaks to everyone.
