As a Designer at Audrey Scheck Design, I manage the life cycle of full-service and construction interior design projects from the time a client is onboarded with the firm through the final install and photo shoot post-construction. Collaboration is a key aspect of this role with clients, design and procurement team members, trades, and vendors to establish strong, transparent communication and deliver a first-class experience every step of the way.On the technical side of the role, I am responsible for developing schematics of all elements of the spaces within the project scope, including hard finishes, furnishing, and decor. Additionally, using these systems, I work with vendor partners to design custom features such as cabinetry, windows, and doors. I leverage a variety of technologies to create renderings, design plans, and construction specs, and rely on SketchUp for 2D space planning and 3D rendering, as well as cloud-based systems such as Google Suite and Dropbox to manage all digital project materials.Beyond design, I contribute to the development of new processes to support the growing business of the firm, and enjoy collaborating with my teammates to streamline and refine every facet of the design process. As the Southeastern Territory Sales Representative with the Four Hands Trade Sales team, I was responsible for servicing and fostering lifelong meaningful business relationships with inside sales customers in the Interior Design, Architecture, Design-Build, Staging, and Real Estate Industries across the Carolinas, Tennessee, Florida, and the Deep South.I supported customers working in project-based roles as an expert on the Four Hands product, and helped educate and provide resources to ensure they were receiving professional, timely information to best support their design decisions and business needs. With a strong background in and love for the interiors industry, I eagerly shared my knowledge and passion to drive business and a best-in-class client experience.I was also responsible for engaging with prospective clients through the application review and onboarding process to the Four Hands Trade Program in an ongoing effort to build out my book of business and continually develop strong client relationships with the Four Hands company.

As the Home Stylist at Anthropologie Charlotte, I was responsible for running the Home business for the North and South Carolina market. Within my role, I worked on an appointment basis with both residential and commercial clients throughout the design process, beginning with acquisition of project information, creation mood boards and room renderings, presentation of these materials with clients both in person and virtually, revisions based on client feedback, creation of order invoices, and ending with staging of large full-home projects post-delivery.Additionally, I managed the furniture showrooms, and was an expert on the Home assortment, which ranged from custom upholstery, case goods, lighting, rugs, textiles, and decor. Twice a year, I was responsible for planning and executing floor plans and installation of my store's new furniture floor sets, and worked closely with the Visual Merchandising team to ensure showrooms were reflective of current brand initiatives and visuals on a seasonal basis.As a leader in the store, I monitored my business metrics and presented this to store, district, and regional leadership on a weekly basis. I was also responsible for presenting data and current projects with the Brand Styling Team at Anthropologie Home Office, and served as a mentor to other Home Stylists in my district and region. I set goals on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, and strove to continue to develop and strengthen my business. During 2021, my first year with the company, I drove Home Sales to achieve a 57% comp against my store's previous best year pre-pandemic in 2019. With this accomplishment, I had the second highest growth in sales of any Home Stylist in the Anthropologie company for FY22. Year over year, I grew my business's sales 107% from 2019 during FY23. I was consistently one of the top performing Home Stylists for my store's volume tier, and on average, contributed 10-16% of overall sales to my store's performance annually.

As a secondary-level educator in the #1 school district in South Carolina, I taught 7th Grade Social Studies and English Language Arts for Gifted & Talented, Gen-Ed, and Inclusion students.As the team lead for my grade level department, I wrote the Modern World History (1600-present) curriculum in alignment to the South Carolina State Standards, and collaborated weekly with my colleagues to build out meaningful assessments, leverage new technologies, review data and celebrate student growth, and strategize engaging ways to improve literacy, critical thinking, and writing skills through a historical lens.I constantly strove to foster strong relationships with my students through a safe and welcoming environment, as well as professional and transparent partnerships with all stakeholders including parents, administrators, and colleagues.
