With a background rooted in public health, I’m passionate about shaping urban environments that are not only smarter and better connected but also deeply focused on the well-being of their inhabitants.My work is currently all about blending sustainable development with urban innovation, using inclusive and evidence-based strategies to create people-centered solutions. Whether it’s championing climate-neutral initiatives, promoting active travel and public transportation, or advocating for equity and justice in our built environments, I’m dedicated to making a tangible impact.I thrive on learning from others and building connections across various disciplines, all with the goal of enhancing urban life. My experience spans smart cities, climate-neutral initiatives, public health, and food systems, with a special focus on improving urban life across Europe, the UK, the USA, and beyond.When I’m not working towards these goals, you might catch me rowing or cycling around town, with my energetic toddler and rescue dog keeping me on my toes. I’m also actively involved in volunteering, contributing my time to organizations like the American Public Health Association, Penn Alumni, and more—check out my involvement below.My upbringing in the city of New Orleans, LA, has deeply influenced my approach to creating dynamic and resilient urban spaces, along with my current home in Richmond, VA, as well as the other cities I’ve lived in.
