I had a fulfilling 12 year career as an NICU nurse, but working long 12 hour night shift, 6 to 7 nights a week became unbearable. I became unhealthy, overweight, and unsatisfied with the work I was doing. I knew that one day I would want to become a mom, and I wanted to make sure I would be there for my children. But with financial world we were living in, that dream of being a stay at home mom went out the window. Working 12 hour nights, weekends and holidays was not an effective long-term strategy to provide me with the time I desperately needed and the lifestyle I wanted for myself and my family.I was looking for a solution, a way to provide an income without having to pick up extra shifts at the hospital. That's when my journey as an entrepreneur began.
