Manage 40 accreditation, research and improvement projects annually, leading to a 300% increase in faculty and resident scholarly outputs. Awarded seven research and physician workforce development grants from internal and external funders, totaling $1.1 million. Coach stakeholders in quality improvement, leading to improved efficiency and patient outcomes (e.g. 15% increase in hypertension control). Initiate and co-chair a regional scholarly symposium with 400 attendees, of whom 100% were satisfied with the event. Lead a mentoring and shadowing project that, to date, has exposed 40 college students from underrepresented backgrounds to healthcare.

Managed all aspects of data use for the $22 million Whole Person Care grant, including the integration of 10 different data sources; analyzed and applied privacy regulations for different data sources; conducted data analysis; visualized and interpreted data so it could be used to improve services. Managed the independent external evaluation of Whole Person Care and implemented Results Based Accountability across the Health and Human Service Agency. Collaborated with stakeholders in the areas of homelessness, mental health, alcohol and drug, housing services, physical health services in order to change the system of care in Napa to better addresses the needs of homeless residents. Selected achievements:• Improved how the organization provides services by building the organization’s capacity to use data, including integrating and using existing data, analyzing, interpreting and incorporating data into decision-making.• Changed systems and culture at the Agency to use existing data to improve services, resulting in improvements for services provided to older adults and homeless residents.

Develop and implement evaluation and continual improvement framework for the Center. Manage budget, research staff, quantitative and qualitative data collection, analysis, dissemination, and report writing. Collaborate with a diversity of partners and project teams across Australia on measuring and communicating outcomes.• Introduced new processes that improved the transparency of the Center’s activities and facilitated ongoing and continual improvement, resulting in improved relationships between stakeholders.• Upon announcing my resignation due to returning to the United States, the Center requested that I continue to work remotely on a part time basis to consult on outcome measurement, strategy, and continual improvement.

Revised the Demonstrating Social Impact course to meet rigorous accreditation standards for the online component of the MBA (Social Impact). Facilitated the Demonstrating Social Impact course as part of the MBAx degree. • The Demonstrating Social Impact course was developed on schedule and met accreditation standards.• Invited to continue teaching the Demonstrating Social Impact course remotely from the United States.

Coordinated and lectured in four undergraduate social research methods courses with 500 students per year. Wrote competitive research grants, disseminated research, and served as the Ethics Officer and the Occupational Health and Safety representative.• Won a competitive grant to assess the service quality of a program to house the chronically homeless ($225,000 budget).• Improved levels of student satisfaction across the courses for which I was responsible, and achieved 95% student satisfaction rating.

Designed, managed, and liaised with stakeholders on 13 applied research and evaluation projects (combined budget of $1,342,500) in the areas of mental health, homelessness, housing and disability. Managed quantitative and qualitative data collection, analysis, dissemination, and stakeholder relationships.• All 13 projects were completed on time and within budget; promoted from Research Associate to Research Fellow in 2009.• High levels of research dissemination, with 20 research and evaluation reports, four academic journal articles, and 15 conferences and seminars. • Part of the team that received a Faculty Social Impact Award for the evaluation of Headspace, Australia’s youth mental health foundation.• Highly regarded by colleagues: elected by staff to serve as their representative on the Center management committee.

My role at The University of Notre Dame Australia involved developing, coordinating and lecturing in the introductory social policy course which explored the values and ideologies underpinning social policy, the policy process and policy analysis.

I worked in several roles while completing my PhD at UNSW Australia. I was responsible for teaching 400 students across eight sociology and social work courses. I also was the Administrator for the faculty Human Research Ethics Panel in which I developed and maintained database of research ethics applications, and corresponded with staff and students regarding the research ethics approval process.

In this position, I conducted home visits with vulnerable older people throughout the City of San Francisco; assessed their eligibility for Meals on Wheels, and linked clients with additional support programs as required.
