Shannon is a graduate of Point Park University and Columbia Chicago where she earned her BA in Film Production, concentrating on Production Design. She also has experience working in wardrobe, practical effects, and makeup. Shannon currently works on production sets with companies such as Netflix, Sony, and Tristar. She also works with the Heinz Architectural Center at the Carnegie Museum of Pittsburgh, specializing in plaster casting, mold making, and 3D printing. Her work has screened and won awards in numerous festivals across the country, but above all Shannon values collaboration and dedication in film production.

In this position I teach media literacy classes to youth students aged 8-18. I also run the programs social media networks, perform office work, edit material, and aid in the numerous community outreach programs.

In this position I over-saw all of the youth media teachers and their classes, making sure that the program ran smoothly. I also taught media literacy classes to students aged 8 to 18 years old. These classes included animation, graphic design, programming, filmmaking, and photography.
