I am a communications and marketing professional with over a decade of corporate experience. I have a passion for events, promotions, communication and strategy. I have worked with a blogger and been in the construction industry, hospitality, a legal office and a chamber of commerce. I am currently working at a law firm where I work with attorneys to market the firm and develop business. Previous experience includes marketing blog posts and strategizing blog content, analyzing reader statistics, leading events and committees for a trade association, marketing and communications for a national general contractor, creating a marketing campaign for a legal office and sales manager for a hotel.Colleagues know me as a highly energized communicator whose positive attitude not only comes through in my projects but is also highly contagious. My passions include planning events, helping people and flexing my creative muscles. I really value working on projects or events that help accomplish a goal, whether that be raising money, winning a project or announcing a new procedure. I can (and often do) work well alone, but I’m at my best collaborating with others. I am so passionate about events and accomplishing goals that in planning a particular charity comedy show I stepped up to fill in for a colleague that had dropped out. Thus began my five year run as a semi-professional stand-up comedian. I received a Bachelors Degree from Louisiana State University in 2008 and am active in my community here in Houston.
