Through my role, I oversaw the day-to-day operations of the Code Kentucky branch of the program, led the recruitment and guidance of our volunteer mentors, and worked on ways to help our students succeed.

I officially transitioned into an Implementation Specialist role in December 2020, after Kwantek was acquired by TEAM Software. I served as the SME and team lead for the Kwantek product, and successfully launched over 50 new Kwantek clients. I enjoyed the challenge of working strategically with business leaders to best utilize our products for their hiring needs.

I managed over 70 client accounts, providing training and support. A few months after starting in this role, I began to manage new client implementations. Outside of account management, I helped to build out our internal and external knowledge bases, documenting product features and processes.

I wrote over 85 articles for Jeffersontown, Middletown and St. Matthews Magazines, including cover stories, feature stories, and sponsored content. I also served as a Digital Strategist for a tech start-up, composing over 50 blog posts and maintaining a social media presence for the company on LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter.

I was thrilled to join Code Louisville as Student Success Coordinator, after graduating from the program's Front End Web Development course. Web development was not for me, but I took great joy in expanding the pool of tech talent in Louisville. Through my role, I connected graduates of the program with regional employment opportunities, and over 400 of our grads found employment in the software development life cycle. I managed the marketing and communications for Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory, which saw a record attendance of over 314,000 guests in 2015. Throughout my tenure, I increased the social media presence and marketing reach for the museum by doubling the amount of Facebook followers, creating and growing a Twitter account, launching a monthly newsletter sent to a 50k+ member database, and developing a blog. I managed the communications and baseball operations for the Aces, as well as the 2013 Triple-A Baseball All-Star Game and surrounding festivities. This position strengthened my time management, organizational, creative design and overall communication skills. I created a comprehensive Game Notes packet for each game, worked with partners to organize team travel logistics for each away series, and served as main point of contact for players, coaches, umpires, and other front office staff.

I provided support for the communications and baseball operations needs of the team, before I was promoted to the manager position.
