I have recently joined the bam associates team and I am excited about working with a well-respected group of people and for a business that is an industry leader in contract furnishings. I look forward to using the skills that I have developed throughout my professional career in order to increase sales and grow business at bam. I've brought with me to this position a helpful set of experiences and skills. My extensive interior design background and my A&D contacts and relationships will assist me in developing a solid client base in my role at bam. In fact, I am excited that I am able to assist some of the same customers with whom I have previously worked.

As a manufacturers' representative at Facility & Design Resource, my work as an interior designer began to also expand into the world of sales and client relations. In addition to project planning and management, in this new role I also became proficient in the following:- Identifying and developing strategic relationships with partners and potential customers- Establishing and achieving revenue and booking goals- Developing new markets and increasing sales through new business- Working with existing clients to generate repeat business- Preparing for sales forecasts and product quoting- Producing accurate project estimates and time lines for clients- Conducting in-person sales calls and offering presentations/demonstrations- Following up on new leads as well as on existing clients' projects

During my time at DePaul Planning & Design Corporation, I was responsible for coordinating and managing the interior design process for all new construction projects. After assessing the space, I developed a custom design plan, utilizing both Auto CAD and hand rendering. As each project developed, I was responsible for ensuring that both quality design and aesthetic appeal were achieved with a high level of professional excellence.During the interior design process, I would regularly complete the following tasks for and with clients:- Designed, selected and purchased furnishings, artwork and accessories- Provided guidance on interior finish selections- Created and interpreted concepts and layouts- Presented creative solutions, ideas and new concepts to clients- Delivered project estimates and time lines to clients

During my time as an interior designer at Sterling Financial Corporation, I was responsible for the following tasks:- Analyzing space and creating plans using Auto CAD and hand rendering- Designing, selecting and purchasing furnishings, artwork and accessories- Establishing, defining and managing the interior design process for new construction projects- Maintaining a high level of quality design and a focus on aesthetic appeal throughout project progress- Developing and maintaining prototypical interior design package specifications and standardsIn addition, I was also took on the responsibilities of:- Soliciting proposals, writing bid processes, and processing & filling purchase order requests- Negotiating and awarding contracts- Negotiating services and furniture, fixture and equipment pricing with vendors- Ordering and monitoring deliveries- Verifying pricing, billing and quality control of products specified and delivered- Overseeing project budgets
