Outside Perspective, a nonprofit outdoor education program, partners with youth development organizations and schools to provide customized experiential programming. Outside Perspectives provides a complete platform for transformative experiences in the natural environment, assisting youth in building closer communities and support networks while practicing independence and skill mastery.Program Manager position includes: creating and maintaining partnerships with youth organizations, program development, marketing, budgeting and fundraising, training and supervising staff, course leadership, creating positive cultural climate, and ensuring quality programming.

Supervised and led 12 Instructors and Course Directors, co-led seasonal staff trainings, and instructed expedition courses. Facilitated 24-hour on-call field support system, provided field interventions for student and staff medical/behavioral needs, maintained organizational relationships with alumni students and families, enrolled students on follow-up expedition courses, responsible for communication between the Wilderness School, guardians, social workers and DCF and law enforcement during critical incidences. Utilized a risk management lense throughout all responsibilities and developed procedures to improve aspects of program safety.
